Plot: Keep in mind that I only saw this movie last night, and I’ll do my best to summarize the whole thing since there’s a lot going on.
Is it coincidence? Probably, but I still felt sad since it was broadway’s longest running show and I was never a fan of Phantom. Anyways, I ended up watching the 1925 silent movie version because that’s the most accurate to the original book, but it’s also pretty sad because they announced that broadway would stop performing the show in February next year. Now, I’m gonna be real honest: I’ve never seen any version of the production, but that’s kinda ironic because the movie does sort of count as a Universal monster movie, and I like watching those. So while we’re waiting on me to review The Lord of the Rings trilogy as my next big review series, u/pbtoastwithbananas recommended me The Phantom of the Opera.
